Upon Furthur Review: The Long Dark 90's: The Afghan Whigs
The Afghan Whigs - “Gentlemen” (1993)
After the onslaught of Nirvana and grunge, there was a period of time where it seemed like there was a hundred thousand “next great things”, and about 95-99% of those “things” never got past that “next” status, so I guess you could stick…
Dulli said in some interview that they didn’t meet in jail but in college and they just liked the story. Also, sure the Gutter Twins, but the Twilight Singers are his main gig, 5 albums, all of which are wonderful. He has been the mainstay of the Twilight Singers just about as long as he was an Afghan Whig.
